American Red Cross blood drives are open to the public and will be held at the following locations through the end of January.  Blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old (16 with a NYS parental permission slip), and must weigh a minimum of 110 lbs.  Donors can donate blood every 56 days, and public participation is encouraged.  If you are unsure of your eligibility, please call 1-800-GIVELIFE or visit online at donatebloodnow.org.  Every donation can help as many as three different patients. This is a great investment and it takes just about an hour.
